Event: Daytime workshop to learn the technique and different steps of Lindy Hop to give you a good sense of what the dance is all about.
Level: This day workshop is ideal for people who have never danced before or have never danced swing dancing before, but it’s also suitable for new students who feel like they want to progress faster.

The Swing Era is a Swing Dance school based in Moseley. We run our DayHopper classes (and our regular 6 week Lindy Hop courses) in the beautiful St Columba Church right in the heart of Moseley Village. In this bohemian neighbourhood, you'll find plenty of coffee shops, bars and cafes to re-fuel after an afternoon of dancing!
As Lindy Hop is a social dance, we will rotate partners throughout the class!
What to Bring Ideas: Dance shoes or flat shoes for wooden floor, water, snacks, comfortable clothes, change of clothes, deodorant, towel.
What the Workshop Includes:
Three short Lindy Hop classes including 8 count Lindy steps, 6 count Lindy steps and the Charleston.
Breaks in between classes to rest or practice what you've learnt
